Like… she wears all kinds of Black girl braids and twists. But not the boho braids that match her hair texture.

I find it very suspicious.

My current therapist is a 60+ Black woman from Harlem and I cannot emphasize enough how healing that’s been. Finding a Black therapist who also speaks Bronx/Harlem-fuck-is-you-talking-about (or whatever your regional/cultural mother tongue is) is wild helpful.

Still thinking about how some early reviews of Sinners mentioned a lack of world building for the vampires, when in reality most people know more about fictional vampires than the real life 1930’s Mississippi Delta and its people - for which Coogler builds a whole universe #Sinners
