My heart is so, so heavy.

This afternoon, my gorgeous Noodle went to sleep for the final time and crossed the rainbow bridge.

The five years we had together since rescuing each other, were everything I could have dreamed of, and more.

Rest gently baby. I’ll see you again.

I did a teaching session for fellow GP registrars on some neuro topics applicable to primary care

I’ve just received the feedback which was overall very positive

However there was one particularly *helpful* comment requesting that I “smile more”

A man wrote that, didn’t they? 😑

I only know that because when I was walking noodle once, a child ran up to us screaming “OHHH MAHHH GERRRDDDD ITS PIPPIN NNNN”

Primary care isn't easy. GP's aren't your community house officers. General practice is a specialty in its own right. It's complex, dynamic and integral to the health of the population. 7/

in general practice to "understand" it. We often see that idea floated around, but I've always felt that that it would breed resentment rather than respect for primary care.

Instead, come and be a fly on the wall. Spend a few days, heck even just a Monday morning 6/
