Prof Rande Kostal, Western University, Canada is giving a guest lecture in our Teaching Space (FG 005a) on Tues 3rd June at 11.00. He will discuss the exchange between socio-economic & legal spheres in Canada after 1945 & how this manifested in the genesis, litigation & adjudication of tort claims.

Yesterday, for our Law for a Day event, we held a Moot Court (thanks to Clodagh Lally who acted as judge); taster lectures from Prof. Lucy-Ann Buckley (Equality Law) & Dr Stefano Angeleri (Human Rights); an info session by Dr Margaret Fitzgerald-O'Reilly and a Q&A panel with our current students.

On April 3 2025, Dr Una Woods of the School of Law, and Dr Gabriel Brennan of the Law Society of Ireland co-hosted a Summit on Land Law – Conflicts and Challenges which took place in Blackhall Place, Dublin. Experts in land law delivered eight excellent papers and 130 people attended the event.
