AC Transit has updated the Realign Service Network to reduce overcrowding and improve reliability. These changes reflect rider and operator feedback, as well as evolving traffic conditions, to provide better service for the community.

@CAgovernor, the CA Department of Finance, and @MTCBATA reached an agreement on a $590 million loan for Bay Area transit agencies that will avert major service cuts for AC Transit, BART, Caltrain, and SFMTA.

We will share information about what riders can expect ahead of the start of major construction.

Thank you for reaching out. All routes that serve Alameda may be impacted during the construction project. AC Transit staff are currently working with the project team and internally to determine specific impacts to bus service and how to mitigate those impacts.
