Something that will forever drive me nuts is that we can in one breathe say there is no need for multiplayer rules, and then update sections of the two-headed giant rules. Ya know. That super relevant format 🫠

This would be overcome-able but cEDH has been completely on our own for organized play. So we are very comfortable and used to playing in our own events. So i think there would have to be a mass crackdown on proxies in order for this to even be remotely possible

As far as a different format goes, I don’t think it would take off personally. Conquest exists and its like *fine*
Imo the real hurdle is that proxy culture is so deeply engrained into the community for better or worse.

There is a multiplayer MTR and IPG that has been played worked on by multiple high up judges. Current issue with that is kind of very specific people who are in charge of official rules who kind of refuse to even entertain multiplayer rules

I gave up (specifically) playing Modern when I was at a tournament and every opponent I played against refused to speak and would only point to cards as the played. Like… I will just play online if I don’t want to interact with anyone all day.

Maybe its my own biases cause Spider-Man and friends are my favorite comic characters outside of the Batfamily. But idk, this set really does it for me.

I am so in love with the Spider-man set. Even with the aspects that kind of bug me - get it guys, he is a 4/8 with and makes your max hand size 8 - this set just really scratches fun creative ideas for me.
