Kepler 1649 c is one of the most Earth-like exoplanets discovered so far.

Located 300 light-years away, this intriguing world is only 1.2x more massive than Earth, as well as being nearly identical in radius. It orbits within the habitable zone of a red dwarf star and is believed to be rocky.

The upper galaxy is labelled UGC 1810 by itself, but together with its collisional partners is known as Arp 273. The overall shape of the UGC 1810 -- in particular its blue outer ring -- is likely a result of wild and violent gravitational interactions. The blue color of the outer ring at the top is caused by massive stars that are blue hot and have formed only in the past few million years. The inner part of the upper galaxy -- itself an older spiral galaxy -- appears redder and threaded with cool filamentary dust. A few bright stars appear well in the foreground, unrelated to colliding galaxies, while several far-distant galaxies are visible in the background.

Butterfly Nebula. Two enormous, knotted lobes of pink, red, and white gas and dust extend out from a central point and diagonally to the top right and lower left. The lobes resemble the wings of a butterfly, and they glow against black space dotted with more distant stars and galaxies.

Definitely exoplanets! Nebulas, Black Holes and Stars have zero possibility of life. Meanwhile, what is generally the first question when it comes to a newly discovered exoplanet???

Confidence does not equate to credibility. I debate religious apologists all the time and you won’t ever find a bigger group of cocky, arrogant, and self assured people who are more consistently and demonstrably wrong than them

Hundreds of galaxies appear in this view, which is set against the black background of space. There are many overlapping objects at various distances. They include large, blue foreground stars, some with eight diffraction spikes, and white and pink spiral and elliptical galaxies. Numerous tiny orange dots appear throughout the scene.

i love images like these so much because they just show hundreds, even thousands of galaxies out there.

it truly make us realize how small we are.

A frame split horizontally down the middle. At left is a galaxy cluster and background galaxies, showing thousands of overlapping objects at various distances on a black background. Just above center is a bright white oversized oval, a supergiant elliptical galaxy. Around it are many thin, long orange or pink arcs. These are background galaxies that appear stretched and distorted. To the bottom right is the outline of a small box. On the right side is a zoomed in view of this area. There are two smaller circular outlines flanking a larger central oval outline, labeled Firefly Sparkle galaxy. Within it is a long line, pointing from bottom left to top right with 10 circular star clusters in pink, purple, and blue. The circled galaxy to the bottom left is labeled Companion 1 and looks like a bright red dot. At top right, the circled galaxy labeled Companion 2 is lighter red and surrounded by a red disk.

#NASAWebb recently found a galaxy that not only existed around 600 million years after the big bang, but is also similar to what our Milky Way galaxy’s mass might have been at the same stage of development. See its 10 distinct star clusters: webbtelescope.pub/3O5IJUD πŸ” πŸ§ͺ
