Most business travel isn't necessary. Most of it could be replaced by virtual work and digital docs. Pretending its somehow necessary to prop up our failing capitalist system instead of a weird legacy holdover or job perk is disingenuous.

Only 30% of Americans fly at least once a year. Only 20% of Americans fly 3 or more times. Willing to bet *most* of that is voluntary/entertainment travel. It's like the least important thing impacted by the shutdown.
