Poem- ~Free~ Now that I am prioritized My voice has been maximized And my truth has been vocalized My face is not scrutinized My actions not punitivized My words are not endlessly revised Devised To keep me unrecognized. No one is surprised To meet me undisguised And undespised. For they are not hypnotized And advised That my humanity has been compromised Or that I have been despiritized By someone whose demons are mobilized With weapons that have been customized To leave me downsized Minimized In the eyes of those I most prized. Freedom has authorized Energized And radicalized My existence into being fully realized. -simplyrosie
