Update.
The Telegraph has now corrected its entirely fabricated claim that 1 in 12 Londoners is an "illegal migrant" and has accepted that this claim was false in *four" separate respects.
However, this has not resolved my complaint to IPSO - I will continue to request a front-page correction.
Video training would be more appropriate at this point. Government dependence on text based platforms is a serious issue.

Reform says it's raising millions - but what has Farage's party done with the money it's received in the past?
I took a deep dive into Reform's 'wholly exceptional' accounts, and found a 'black hole' and some major questions

It is a source of endless frustration for me that the fact Reform is a limited company owned by Nigel Farage isn't given more attention.
Every time that Reform or Farage are interviewed this should be probed and questioned.
They are held to such a lower standard than any other party.

They seem more likely to favour video platforms. I think social media habits as a whole have changed so much that text platforms may be on the way out. I hope I'm wrong

Thought the garden would look mysterious and romantic covered in snow at midnight.

The jump from incredible costumes to Temu levels of plastic is quite something. It took a rewatch for me to get into it but I found series 2 a lot better.

Legacy media outlets are really bad at communicating the harm that will be caused by Trump and Musk.
They should be relentlessly shamed for behaving like far-right bullies, but instead their actions are normalised as part of the “game” of politics

How gorgeous is this wrapping paper?
I love wrapping gifts far more than buying or receiving them. This paper is sort of a treat to myself
I sincerely hope it is Call Me Davey

It actually wouldn't be that different to buying land on the US/Mexico border

On the right side, there’s a sample alt text description in various colours that reads: “Santa Claus looking happy as he waves at the camera. He wears a traditional red suit and hat and has a long white beard and glasses. There are colourful lights twinkly behind him.” Below the text, a photo of Santa Claus is shown, waving with a big smile against a background of twinkling, colourful holiday lights

Musk's contempt for journalists stems from his desire to be more powerful than them.
In a world where we're stunt casting roles at the highest level, his celebrity only serves to build his credibility. We will need to break down celebrity to restore any sense of balance.
That sounds amazing. No frozen fruit this year, but I have a freezer full of fresh tomato sauce which is a joy to dip into through the winter.

A rightwards shift for Meta?
Meta has conceded it was "overdid it" with certain content moderation in the past - in an apparent overture to Donald Trump
It comes as Zuckerberg is seeking an “active role” in shaping tech policy debates with the incoming administration

Conservative control of mainstream media is a thing, and it's coming to social media whether we like it or not.
TikTok slides increasingly to the right (to appease Trump, but also to spread Project 2025 agendas more broadly) and LinkedIn is already more than half way there.
This is what I want from this app. I mean, am here for the geeky chat, but also for pictures of gloriously floofy animals that look straight out of a John Lewis Christmas ad
