HEAVY on that last sentiment, I understand why so many people stay (especially those whose major income comes from it) but I wish more people would make the jump and actually stay.

Folks talk about it being "boring" over here but the reality is everyone giving up on it is what keeps it that way 😩

The audacity of using AI on an adaptation of an Alberto Breccia comic... a guy who went to any lengths to pursue new ways of analog texturing his work. He made comics of nothing but cut up construction paper, he embroidered landscapes in his panels, and inked with fucking razor blades

Since the fed gov decided to tank funding for PBS, now is a great time if you have extra cash to support educational TV and programs that had often made learning accessible to poorer corners of the public.
