I know it's doable, I've seen a video of a Japanese construction company framing a home in less than a week. 3D print the concrete foundation, premade framing, limited scope on frivolous things that make up "Luxury living". Why can't it be done in Canada??

If I was obsurdly rich, I'd create a company that R&Ds how to build cheap, sustainable homes as quickly as possible. Prefab construction, 3D printing, the works! Then offer it up to the Canadian Government as a Crown Corporation. If Canada wants to solve housing, we need to decommodify it.

I had a really wholesome dream where I had a job converting oversized 18 wheeler trailers into multi-family homes meant for export to Belize.

Now all morning I've been pondering how I'd solve the housing crisis in Canada. I think I have some good ideas.

I will say that although there's merit in not reinventing the wheel. The wheel became a lot better when we added ball bearings to them.

Shot these at the Ice Castles in Edmonton several years ago. It was an ethereal experience to walk amongst sculptured spirals of ice. It's what I'd imagine exploring the underside of a glacier to be.

I cleaned my fridge for the first time in a while and now it looks more empty than usual. I wasn't planning my evening to be ruined like this!

Over the years I've shot a lot of Spiderman cosplayers, to the point I am thoroughly burnt out from it.

Then why do I keep coming back?

It bothers me that it's been over 20 years and we still haven't gotten a 3rd party console to play N64 games.

Even if you don't use the Public Library, get a library card. It pads their numbers and helps justify more funding!
