#90. Greatest Hits (Pitbull)
It felt like listening to the history of 2010s American pop. Despite being Mr. Worldwide, Pitbull feels anonymous in his own smash hit singles. Maybe having other people sing your choruses wasn't the best idea.
Or I'm a fucking idiot.
#89. The Silver Cord
We care immensely
Don't get me wrong, I think every song sounds the exact goddamn same and I'll pick Stratovarius/Blind Guardian over Sabaton any day of the week, but also nice βnuanced lyricsβ you fucking dipshit now check this out

It's slop but it's MY slop, motherfucker
Gave it a relisten, my feelings are about the same. I really dig it.

I get confused every time I see someone go "will the Sam Mendes Beatles movies be successful?"
Bro these movies release in APRIL 2028. And we're talking about them like they release this year. Unless they all suck balls, it's going to be the next Barbenheimer.
14. Kung Pow: Enter the Fist
This shit was crack to 8 year old me's sense of humor, and unfortunately it is still crack, I need help.

#87. Kung Pow! Enter the Fist - 9/10
Quite possibly the stupidest movie ever made
#86. Since I Left You
First off, I want to say thank you to @scoutthechief.bsky.social for recommending the album, this is absolutely my shit. But something was missing to make it really connect with me. I will keep my eye on The Avalanches henceforth though.
#85. Alligator
This was fucking incredible but I've been unmedicated today so it needs a relisten before I can fully appreciate it.
#84. AM
I've spent the past 8-10 years hearing that this album was Arctic Monkeys "selling out". Maybe they should sell out more often if this is what that sounds like.
I want everyone to know that this post is my fault

"Huh, that riff seems famous" (it was)
#81. Jagged Little Pill
Gotta be one of the few examples where a hidden track is far and above the best track on the album
As a Twitch subscriber to ProtonJon/Claire for the past 8 years, I was of course familiar with the Disc Only podcast. However, I'm somewhat of a passive subscriber, I used to watch her a ton in the mid-2010s but I've had less time to sit down and watch Twitch streams. For similar reasons, I don't listen to many podcasts, I just never had the time to get into the medium. But now I have a job that allows me to use an offline MP3 player at work, so when I realized this was the perfect opportunity to listen to podcasts, Disc Only was one of the first that I thought of. And it became my favorite thing to listen to at work. Granted, it helped that I was familiar with most of the hosts from the get go (the only exception was Jerod, this was my introduction to The 8-Bit Drummer), but the show was a maniacal blend of topics I'm usually interested in discussed by calm and collected individuals spouting insane nonsense. Stephen in particular, though I had already known about him, his stuff on the podcast made me a fan. Anyway, I deeply enjoyed listening to the Disc Only podcast. I haven't listened to the latest episode since I've been listening to an episode a day pretty much every day since the start of December, so I want there to be a small gap between episodes to make it feel more special. It is going to be extremely hard for me to find a good replacement.
#80.5. Disc Only (the original 47 episode run)
I typically don't include podcasts on my media thread for reasons that don't need explaining, but I wanted to give Disc Only a special mention for being the best podcast I've listened to, which will probably stay that way for a while. More in alt text.

#80. Blade - 6/10
It's mid (complimentary)
#79. Turkey! Time to Strike - 6/10
This show is the best kind of mess you could ask for. It is an extremely bizarre concept that, while boring in execution, is a story where I could not imagine where the fuck it was going.
Is it good? Hell no. Do I regret watching it? Not in a million years.
#78. Drunk
It does not surprise me that Thundercat shows up on the Carole & Tuesday soundtrack since he seems extremely up Shinichiro Watanabe's alley
#77. By Design - 5/10
Has like two funny jokes in the second half, but this was not for me at all.
#76. DON'T TAP THE GLASS
Pretty obviously composed from Chromakopia leftovers, but that's never a bad thing
#75. Super Eurobeat Vol. 91
I was in a eurobeat mood, so I found a download with like 30 volumes and picked the one with the funniest album cover.
As big of a eurobeat fan as I am, this is the first time I've listened to a volume front to back and it doesn't take long to figure out why.

If I saw this album at a pub, I would avoid all eye contact out of fear that it would shank me with a broken beer bottle
#72. Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die - 8/10
If Men, Women & Children is "phone bad", this movie is "phone EVIL, PHONE WILL DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL, DESTROY US ALL"
#71. When Harry Met Sally - 8/10
"I want you to know, I will NEVER want that wagon wheel coffee table."
