Our community wants a local representative who listens to them and is accountable to them. I am available to take up the ABC's offer anytime between now and the election.

I was looking forward to a debate with my Liberal opponent on the ABC’s 730 tonight but she has unfortunately declined the invitation.

203 of you braved the rain and showed up at EIGHT different sign lines this morning!
If that isn’t dedication, I don’t know what is.

We also doorknocked this weekend - in Northbridge, Killara and Roseville.

33 days to go - let’s do this Bradfield.

Just had our biggest doorknocking weekend.

Thank you to the 127 doorknockers (yep - you read that right) who invited people back into their democracy this weekend.

This is people-powered politics, and it’s an absolute privilege to be a part of 🌟.

We need change that’s rooted in community needs, not what plays well in Canberra.

This election, we are voting for people, not political parties – we're voting independent.

18.03.2025 22:36 β€” πŸ‘ 16    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

And we finally want serious climate change – an end to new coal projects and a boost to renewable energy and storage.

We've had enough of a two-party system that has failed us. We want local leadership, not party politics.

18.03.2025 22:35 β€” πŸ‘ 16    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

We want affordable childcare that's good for the economy and our kids. We want to fix the housing crisis by turbocharging construction and giving first-home buyers a leg-up. We want to increase supermarket competition so Coles and Woolworths lower their prices.

18.03.2025 22:35 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

We're advocating for serious reforms to the structural economic problems this country faces – and an end to the embarrassing political games the major parties keep playing.

Well, my community has noticed, and we're taking matters into our own hands. After 75 years of one political party holding power in Bradfield, we are standing up. We now have over 1,000 volunteers, have knocked on 10,000 doors, and have held over 100,000 conversations.

18.03.2025 22:34 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

The bar has fallen so low for the major parties that they're both hoping voters won't notice how little they're offering and just vote for the one they dislike the least.

We are weeks out from a federal election and neither major party has offered any serious solutions to housing affordability, climate change or rising grocery bills and energy bills.

β€œMost importantly,” he reckons, β€œbetter policy ideas might have a better chance of becoming law. Many issues flicked into the too-hard basket by the major parties might finally get a run.”

Let’s come together and create a future where families aren’t held back by childcare costs, where children have the start they deserve, and where women are supported to reach their full potential.

As always - better is possible.

It’s in my priorities booklet β€” A strong, affordable economy: My plan for a better Bradfield β€” and it’s designed to make universal, high-quality early childhood education a reality for all.Β
No more excuses.Β
No more delays.

This #IWD2025, I’m not just reflecting on the progress we’ve made. I’m taking action. I have a three-phase approach to address this.

This issue isn’t just a policy debate; it’s personal. I know so many women and families who are working harder than ever but still struggling to make ends meet, simply because our system isn’t built to support them. It’s not fair, and we have the solutions to do better.

07.03.2025 22:27 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

When parents, especially women, are locked out of the workforce due to childcare costs, it affects productivity, household income, and the opportunity to grow retirement savings. The economy suffers, and frankly, so do our future generations.

07.03.2025 22:27 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

This is not just a policy issue; it’s a fundamental matter of fairness and equality for women, families, and children.

The current system isn’t working -Β  it’s leaving working women and our entire economy behind.

This International Women's Day, I feel pride and frustration β€” at the same time. Today, we celebrate how far we've come, but we cannot ignore the long road aheadβ€”especially when it comes to issues like accessing early childhood education.

Teals set to seize balance of power in sink-or-swim election Against a backdrop of Trump-driven global chaos, a group of mostly female MPs will decide which major party forms a minority government at the coming election.

Somewhere along the way, political parties shifted from doing what’s best for communities and this country to maintaining power at all costs.

Now, when β€œfaced with a choice between Labor and the Coalition, roughly one-third of voters say neither”.

It’s official. We have 1000 volunteers.

This milestone is nothing short of amazing.
This is about you – the everyday heroes who are making a difference, one conversation at a time.
This movement is yours. Thank you for being part of something bigger than any one of us. 🩷

Attended a very moving #IWD lunch at Hornsby Kuringgai Women’s Shelter today. In 2024, police were called to a family violence incident every minute. This is horrifying. We can end gender-based violence, but it takes political courage. Time to turn promises into progress.
