Just listened Daniel Susskind on this podcast talking about a future where knowledge worker jobs are replaced.

It's simultaneously very interesting and troubling.

My main takeaway is that even someone very smart who spends their days thinking about this doesn't have much idea what will happen.

What's very interesting macdonalds are completely part of the culture now, totally normal,of everyone under 35. Even vegetarian friends etc, go regularly to fast food chains. The food remains cheap, unhealthy, and ethically questionable, but nobody seems able to fight or find alternatives.
