I'm maintaining the @chordocalls.bsky.social tierlist for TMT! Won't be updated as frequently as a main set, but likely a couple times in week 1 and then maybe once a week for the first 3ish weeks of the set.

Mostly losing this morning, only people who seem to be left playing EA are the limited sickos, but a 4-0 with this to end it off. Luckily avoided pairing in to WB...

Had fun today, but already feeling some repetition in the cards seen every game. Expect 10-20 drafts max for me

No longer undefeated, but a 4-1 with WG (unsupported pair) somewhat confirming my thoughts from the set preview. Only drew the Bishop once, but curving out with creatures and tricks is sometimes all you need.

12-0 on the day, speedrunning the format now with a 4-0 from 5-colour ninjas, obviously.

Couldn't find a lane in the draft after p1p1 Last Ronin, then a late Everything Pizza pulled it all together for this absolute beauty.

Another 4-0 with a much better deck this time. Felt like ninja decks of old, always had a line to punish op. Koya, Beavers and Karai's technique all excellent here

I was really happy with what we did for this instead of a full review, hope others enjoy it too!

The TMT primer with @Chord_O_Calls should be coming out very soon, but in the meantime started EA with a nice 4-0 (only pick 2 for EA) with UGb artifacts. Pizzaface was MVP, though just knowing the cards is a big leg up in these things.

First draft since the spotlight (needed a LONG recovery break) and pivoted from "mostly black hybirds plus some blue cards" for the p2p1 command in to UR for the 7-1. Still enjoying the set, though def not an all timer, and plan to get some more in before TMNT.

Had an absolute blast at the Toronto Spotlight this past weekend!

6-2 day 1 sealed (UW)
3-0 draft 1 (GW)
2-0 in to loss playing for top 8 draft 2 (RB)

Was a single game away from being back on the PT but I was overdue for some bad luck by the end. Was great seeing so many friends (old and new)!

Notably these decks look SO much different to drafting on Arena. Pod drafting delivered as always, and looking forward to this weekend even more after having a blast with some friends (and winning a bit of cash to boot)!

Dom was seated to my left, and a bit unlucky the two other Willows were both opened in pack 2. I think my deck would have gone from decent to great if I had them both, but no guarantee they wouldn't have been taken by someone else I suppose

R3 vs Dom he kept me on the back foot all g1, playing Bloodletter to win a combat, gloom ripper after and getting in with a 15/6 Boneclub I could never really block.. G2 and g3 went much better, he flooded a bit and I got to use my tricks and flyers to close

R2 vs Chun it was my turn to regret a lack of removal as he went off with Brigid g1. Was extremely close to winning in the air (and even got to Stone on Cleric as I had already drawn some merfolk) but he got me for exactsies. G2 I answered Maralen but died to Watershaper

R1 vs Andrew we had an insane match. I drew the good half of my deck, and popped off with Twilight Diviner both games (g1 with Eirdu, g1 with Willow plus Blackthorn). Got lucky he didn't draw much removal either game and took both games.

Weak pack 1, only choice was Reaping Willow. p1p2 Eclipsed Kithkin p1p3 Emptiness and stayed mostly mono white pack 1. Pack 2 got passed an Eirdu and never saw a reason not to be black so ended up Wb

Low on removal and lots of filler, with typal payoffs a little all over...

The frustraing thing about stubbornly sticking to Arena is the bo1 pods are juiced curveouts galore, and then I switch to bo3 and get the quickest easiest 3-0 6-0 ever with this, in large part due to a slew of questionable gameplay/draft/build decisions from my opponents...sigh

Another gap between trophies, but got there with this one, including a wild one vs @chordocalls.bsky.social . Maralen+Bitterblossom is nuts, as is the Command+Pennant combo. The omni changeling maybe should have been another Dream Seizer, as milling islands is a real possibility

Overall the format is better than most typal sets, and I'm looking forward to both watching the PT tomorrow and playing in the spotlight in Toronto next week.

P1p1 Ashling's command and then UR ws mostly open.

Round 1 beat Liam's UW merfolk, round 2 lost to Tariq's UW merfolk lightning fast to turn 5 Kinbinding twice, round 3 beat Edgar's BG elves, so another 2-1 in the PT money draft pod, which I'm thrilled with!

Wasn't planning on posting about it since I was missing a few decklists and my games weren't very interesting, but had a few people ask about it so I guess better late than never.
