This day has felt like a full goddamn week.

*”settle in the moment” aka get dressed an in the car before mom loses it.

My daughter (5) couldn’t go with her first choice of “demon hunter” for Career Day at school and had to begrudgingly go with her second choice of “Teacher.”

Another valuable lesson from Career Day: sometimes you have to settle in the moment, but it’s ok to keep the dream alive.

Feels like my mind is on airplane mode today, and I’m ok with that.
