Originally was planning on waiting till I finished slime galaxy before switching, but I decided to go for it anyways last year and full switched to gentoo, I've been loving it. Then on my server I figured out how to use docker, got Wireguard setup and Joplin running! It's very nice sorting it out!

Yeah, I'd be curious to investigate that sometime when my workload is a little lighter. Things are abstracted to a point where you don't always *need* to know the fundamentals of how everything works, but fundamentals always leads to greater insights down the line.

I am too tired to have the energy to express it right now... but somehow, keeping your house clean and taking care of yourself is connected to this concept. Slow things down, make your living environment cozier, keep it tidy, enjoy simple processes.

I get so attracted to highly stimulating, competitive test of skill type games, and when I play games that can be more peaceful, without measurement, I create my own measurements and try to push their boundaries. sometimes it is good just to experience.

Sometimes I wish I were better at slowing down. It is hard for me to stop. I want to take my time. When playing games lately I push myself not to optimize, or condense things into a list of objectives, but to be in the world and enjoy the experience.

Also got very lucky that my other English teacher for grade 9/10 just kept asking for collages/drawings on the books I didn't read. I'd just skim for like a sentence that seemed like it could be worked off of and try to make the most pretentious visuals I could come up with and she liked it!
