Republican farm politics runs a predictable loop: trade wars that choke exports, policies that favor giant agribusiness, and then taxpayer bailouts to paper over the damage. That is not free markets; it is managed dependency designed to secure votes while family farms vanish.

This is the right instinct. Collective, lawful resistance beats doomscrolling and lone rage. Authoritarians win on isolation. They lose when people organize, show up, and refuse to normalize abuse of power. Defiance is civic duty.

When leaders frame vulnerable people as the problem, politics starts drifting toward fear instead of solutions. A fair society fixes broken systems without turning refugees into scapegoats for economic frustration or public anger. Compassion and accountability can coexist.

We need to pass a House rule or law that requires them to work a certain number of days to get paid. Since Mike Johnson took over these people hardly ever work. When they finally come back after weeks off they work 2 days and he sends them home for 2 more weeks. It’s ridiculous.
