From
"The Sovereign Individual"
by
Lord William Rees-Mogg (& James Dale Davidson)
1. The democratic nation-state basically operates like a criminal cartel, forcing honest citizens to surrender large portions of their wealth to pay for stuff like roads and hospitals and schools.
2. The rise of the internet, and the advent of cryptocurrencies, will make it impossible for governments to intervene in private transactions and to tax incomes, thereby liberating individuals from the political protection racket of democracy.
3. The state will consequently become obsolete as a political entity.
4. Out of this wreckage will emerge a new global dispensation, in which a
"cognitive elite" will rise to power and influence, as a class of sovereign individuals "commanding vastly greater resources" who will no longer be subject to the power of nation-states and will redesign governments to suit their ends.

Moldbug argued that the state is not going anywhere anytime
soon and thus the best solution would be what he called "neocameralism": that is, convert the state into "a business which owns a country" with share. holders and customers, the ownership of which is formally transferred into the hands of the actual rulers, meaning whoever "capitalists pay for political favors?" Moldbug's arguments echo those found in a number of other texts one could situate within the genre of libertarian exit. These would include James Dale Davidson and William Rees-Mogg's The Sovereign Individual (1997).
Davidson, a private investor and cofounder of the National Taxpayer's Union, and Rees-Mogg, a journalist and a baron, argued for the commercialization of overeignty and the transformation of the citizen into a "Sovereign Individual" who could "optimize [their] lifetime earnings" by becoming a customer of a
"government or protection service."S To help would-be Sovereign Individuals along in their journey to consumer independence, Davidson and Rees-Mogg, much like Phoenix Foundation member Harry Schultz, offered up an array of resourcesweekly investment briefings, private consultations, offshore money management services, membership in the Oxford Club, among others-for purchase. One could also include here the writings of German-American

Polite reminder. Trump & Brexit are not 2 different things. They are the same thing. Same companies.
Same data. Same Facebook. Same Russians. Same Cambridge Analytica. Same Robert Mercer.
Same Steve Bannon. Same Breitbart. Same Alexander Nix.
Same Donald Trump. Same Nigel Farage.

Some of us have been saying for a good few years now that replacing international organisations / institutions was a main goal of the billionaires / grifters behind Brexit and Trump.

From the “Sovereign Individual” books of William Rees-Mogg, through attacking the EU, & installing Trump, Musk, etc.

Public Warning: Charter-City and Free-Zone Developments Carry Documented Risks to Communities This is a public-interest warning, not an allegation against any named individual or organisation.

The Tories and Labour colluded on a nationwide rollout of free zones not long after Brexit.

Reminder that Francesca Albanese is not being targeted for a sentence twisted and lifted out of context in a speech.

She is being targeted for daring to name the names of giant companies complicit in the crime of genocide.

They would rather destroy international law than be accountable to it.

Concerned about drones from cartels, the US military shot down a "party balloon" (www.foxnews.com/politics/us-...).
Keep that in mind when the Pentagon executes people while claiming without evidence they're blowing up cartel boats.

Seasteading has always had that creepy and aggressive underside that characterizes so many “exit” and “freedom” projects. The 1970s Republic of Minerva project “president” Bud Davis declared residents on the private island would be able to do whatever they wanted, and he gave examples….
