“This unilateral military intervention is plainly illegal”.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, on the other hand, “can’t say”

Follows from the watery statement issued yesterday which also failed to condemn this aggression.
A two minute conversation between the Minister and a Department of Foreign Affairs lawyer would have easily clarified how the UN Charter has been breached.

Aggressive war entails legally unjustified killing, maiming, and destruction. It is an atrocity crime.
As the Human Rights Committee has emphasized, the killing inflicted in such a campaign violates the right to life.

Doesn't sit well with the FAI commitment in its Governance Handbook to "aspire and endeavour ... to respect internationally recognised human rights and to promote the protection of these rights".
Given that the Israel FA denies the rights of Palestinians by holding matches in illegal settlements.
