Any harassment or hateful attacks toward Barbra are unacceptable and have no place in our sport, league or our communities. We stand unequivocally with Barbra and with every NWSL player.

While this statement is needed, this came from another NWSL player. Players need protection from outside forces but also quite literally from people inside this league as well. This is not a sufficient statement and while only Banda is named this needs to be about all black players (cont)
