In 2022, Hillingdon Labour, under my leadership, achieved their best election results for 24 years. The canvass returns (over 6 wards) for Hayes Independent Party suggest 2026 will be Hillingdon Labour's worst results ever. Looking like a complete Labour wipeout

Here's a tip to anyone who stands for election 70 miles from their home and wants to campaign on potholes. First check wich roads are; Private, non-adopted, managed by TfL, or Highways Agency. Then concentrate on the roads under the council's management.

The Preston model of community wealth building is well known in the #Cooperative World - it broke new ground on ensuring local economies work for local people by turning the traditional economic approach on its head and putting people at the heart of decision making,

First Past the Post can no longer deliver real mandates - only chaos. 60% of Brits want it scrapped.

Yet the Representation of the People Bill won’t even touch our voting system, which leaves millions unrepresented.

Tell Keir Starmer to change this.

Well this tweet has not aged well. .... and to think, this is the party, that after 25 years dedicated membership and public office, told me that I lacked political judgement! Im so glad Ive left a party that has descended into the cesspit of misinformation & opportunism.

West London Labour group unable to find enough female candidates for 2026 The party has reportedly deselected councillors all over London ahead of the 2026 local elections prompting several to defect to rivals

The authoritarian and toxic environment that has been cultivated in the Hillingdon Labour Party has resulted in chaos, with a very rapid decline in terms of membership and those willing to put themselves forward for public office.

No 10 accepts people are β€˜disappointed with the pace of change’ as Plaid Cymru celebrates Caerphilly byelection win – UK politics live Lindsay Whittle seized the Senedd constituency from Labour and resisted a fierce challenge from Reform UK

Its not the pace of change people are disappointed with, Its the lack of change & the ever increasing move to the right. Labour needs to be Labour, not an imitation of Reform, or the Tories. Labour2win have made the party totally unelectable.

Met Police progress in closing Β£260m funding gap 27 police front counters will remain open

I am very pleased that the Met Police
have listened to me & other #Hillingdon residents and thought again about closing Hayes police station's front counter. It's unacceptable that under the previous proposal, NW London would be without a counter service.

Revealed: Labour-run council using legal loophole to serve families with no-fault evictions Exclusive: London council created an arm’s-length body to manage some of its housing stock

In the words of Neil Kinnock ..... A Labour council, a LABOUR council, hiring taxis and skuttling around the city handing section 21 eviction notices to its own tenants !!!! This is what factional control freakery leads to. Absolutely appalling.

This is why there is a housing crisis. Its not immigration, its the lack of social housing with truly affordable rents.

Not to mention the demolition of the historic Heathrow villages plus the pollution, noise, increased asthma which will need more hospital and medical intervention. Etc. Etc. Etc. In what world is any of this worth a messily 0.43% growth. Absolutely crazy !!!

Heathrow’s misleading visualisation. In fact building a third runway over 1200 hectares of green belt, 2 villages, 5 rivers and the M25 will be catastrophic and unimaginably disruptive for the environment and people

This is how low the Labour Party has now sunk. An MP standing up for people without a voice, like the disabled and the vulnerable, is considered a "knobhead". How insulting. This is not Labour Values, its disgusting
