It’s pokey. But with a little water it works well.

Lochlea batch 2 cask strength @60% abv. Very drinkable this, plenty of vanilla, malted milk biscuit, sweet dark fruits and toffee apple. Little water helps. #maltwhisky #whisky #lochlea

What a belter this is, easily one of the best whiskys I had the privilege of drinking. It’s a sipper @53% but a touch of water brings this to life. I need to find another bottle!! #penderyn #dramfam #whisky

Kilchoman PX 2023 @50%abv. Honestly opens right up with touch of water. Subtle hint of peat, loads of milk chocolate, chocolate orange and toffee underlined with cigar ash. Drying medium finish with more ash a tad bitter like a good plain chocolate. #kilhoman #whisky #islay #scotland

Well a very gift from one of my customers. I rather like this, very young but full of character. Lochlea Fallow (2nd crop) NCF, no added colour @ 46%. The first bottle I had didn’t last long. Reckon this’ll be a cracking dram at 10yrs. #whisky #maltwhisky #dramfam #lochlea #lowland #scotland
