07.02.2026 15:32 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Fortunately, there's a resource to improve benchmarking of multiphoton systems. So things can get better. Here's the paper www.nature.com/articles/s41... And here's the free PMC version PDF (pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...) (3/3)
21.01.2026 20:55 β π 5 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0Comparing multiphoton (2p/3p) imaging systems is often done poorly. labrigger.com/blog/2026/01... E.g., PSFs can be measured differently by different labs, staining quality is by far the biggest determinate on how multiphoton images will look at depth, and so forth. (1/3)

We spend way too much time manually analyzing #microtubules π¬
Together with Mario, Justus, Dominik, Felix & Erik we used synthetic data and foundation models to build a fully automated segmentation pipeline.β¨

14.01.2026 06:02 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The images shows an array of 6 Expansion microscopy images of cell nuclei (three columns and 2 rows). each image was taken with a different SPY-DNA probe to stain the nuclear DNA and is pseudocolored to the fluorescence wavelength of the SPY-DNA probe. Trom top left to bottom right: SPY505-DNA (green); SPY555-DNA (magenta); SPY595-DNA (yellow); SPY620-DNA (orange); SPY650-DNA (red); SPY700-DNA (darker red). a white scale bar of 50 micrometers is given for each image to get an impression of the scale of each nuclei.
Are you staining DNA in your ExM samples?
We have awesome news for you! All our 6 SPY-DNA probes work beautifully well with the U-ExM protocol.
You can now tune the color of the DNA channel to your needs, according to the fluorophores on your preferred antibodies.

The FPbase spectra viewer just had it's biggest software refactor in 6 years. It *should* be largely invisible to the end user (hopefully just faster and less buggy). Please let me know if you find any issues as you use it!
