The photos are black and white and the animal itself looks a bit like a spider, although it isn't. It has a tear drop chaped body covered with dense spines, and an anterior point. It doesn't have the narrowing between the front and the back of the body that spiders do.

Word up. It's #FossilFriday. This week, meet Eophrynus. This is a ~315 million year old member of the trigonotarbids - an extinct group, related to spiders, whip spiders, and whip scorpions. Check out the spines! I love this fossil.
