Haha I think if anything they're just trying to sell ALL of us more contrast paint and washes: even with a double zero, there is no human way to get into the nooks and crannies of the faces these days

Thanks! The raw terror of extreme close up is very real. I think I remember @coyotebd.bsky.social once saying not to sweat the stuff that can't be seen by the human eye. At a certain point, some of the little bits are so small you can't sweat them even if you wanted to, which is kind of freeing
