Keepsake Keepsake by Elizabeth Rosen Β  Exactly how I came to be beating the shit out of a fiberglass pig by the side of the highway in the middle of the night is a long story. Suffice it to say the pig was...

Sometimes a story you wrote lands in exactly the right place. That's how I feel about "Keepsake" landing in @cowboyjamboree in their new issue Hidden Behind the Door that Sorrow Locked.

FYI: No pigs were injured in the making of this work of fiction.

A fantastic story. My step-dad died of complications from Agent Orange so this story hit me extra hard. I think this is a great example of spec fiction addressing issues & heartbreak in a way realism can't reach.

Rumpus Original Fiction: The Red Zone - The Rumpus That night, when I confessed to never having used a tampon before, not having a mom around to explain it, Cami locked us both into a bathroom stall and showed me how.

Beautiful writing about all the feels of being newly in college and independent by Jennifer Galvão in @therumpus.net.
