i'm incredibly socially and emotionally stunted but so is most people in my age range so i guess it's ok

we had a relatively good thing going for about a decade but i guess we got fuckin bored of that!!

the "western world" is in full-blown meltdown mode and it's showing the ugly side that has existed all along. what we're seeing now is the bedrock of these nations. this is what it's been this whole time

because i absolutely feel like that people aren't very mentally sound right now and that the state of things is just making that fact worse but anything universally understood is basically like "yeah everyone is braindead and schizophrenic and thus they're evil" which is NOT what i mean

i wish there was a snappy enough term that invokes the same feeling as "mass psychosis" without like. being the term "mass psychosis"

we've seen it often enough that transphobia *melts* your brain

something about it - the way it specifically requires you to adopt conspiracy and dehumanize other people for it to make any sense at all - is roughly on par with being kicked in the head by an evil horse

I do wish people would treat transphobia as the serious red flag it is, because if someone is repeating bullshit pseudoscience talking points from right wing cranks, that's just as bad as conceding to anti-vax nonsense and undermining trust in science and medicine, alarm bells should be sounding!

The whole “feminism is antagonizing men and turning them into misogynists/rightwingers” take gives me the same energy as when people were insistent that BLM was making white people racist

something i've noticed that seems rarely talked about is the disturbing amount of people in this country who just. seemingly have an insatiable bloodlust. they desperately yearn to be this main character spectacle who changes the world with hellfire and guns and shit

the amount of people who basically just want to do fascism but to the "right people" is reaaally fucking disturbing
