She'll be about an hour.

She's not far away. Just finishing a job and she will come right over.

And she'll even pick up some dinner for them both. And a bottle of wine.

"I can organise that," she nodded with a smile, "And I'll even negotiate a small charge for the use of the room and stall setup. I'll make sure to have a full inventory, so don't worry. All you'll need to do, is the the tough guy routine on the door."

"I might push and have myself a little sweet treat," she then smiled eagerly, "Wanna share a sundae with some... extra chocolate drizzle? Orrrr... We could just get a tub of ice cream and eat it whilst binging some horror or action flicks."

Perusing the menu in front of her ahead, she tapped a forefinger to her lips as she contemplated her choice.

"I think I'm gonna grab some hot wings with a Fire Burger and a bucket of Buffalo Chicken with some spicy rice on the side," she said with a smirk, "What's your food poison?"

- and also some independent traders have asked if they could book the function room for stalls. What do you think?"

"Yeah, that sounds like our furkids alright," Alina chuckled.

"Oh, I meant to tell you: Kalm are having a Spooky Festival on the last week of October. We've been asked if we'd be interested in keeping the restaurant open and hour or two past closing time, -

Setting the wine and glasses to one side, Mitra then came in with a curious gaze.

"Been up to trouble, have we?" Alina chuckled as she bent down to give Mitra a quick stroke, "I'm guessing Louis was the ring-leader in that little incident."

- scratching behind Hex's ears, earning a purr in return.

"Okie Daddy!" Addy gave him a grin and a giggle.

With a smile, Alina went to pull out a bottle of wine and two glasses for the ice bucket.

A curious Hex came to see what she was doing. Tail up with the flick of a curl at the end as she chirruped at the redhead, "Hey cutie-girl," she said, -

"Actually no," she smiled as she rose up after Addy ran off to play with her doll house, "Strictly a family snug only. Somewhere to relax, take a load off... Maybe even get a little romance in when the mood strikes. But absolutely no guests."

"Ohh, your first lesson on keeping yourself safe from Daddy," Alina chuckled as she fussed over the child's hair, "Can you remember what Mommy taught you too?"

"I hit the goolies!" Addy said, confident in her answer.

"Atta girl," Alina grinned, "No one messes with our baby girl."

Once Addy was placed on the floor, she waddled happily to her mother with arms stretched out and a giggle in her stride.

Alina crouched down with open arms to receive their little girl, "Hey baby! Did you have fun with Daddy?"

"Yeah!" Addy responded to her.

Snug at the cottage is finally complete.

"And I love you," she smiled with a slight bashful blush on her cheeks, but happily she leaned in to him and returned a soft, slow and gentle kiss to his lips.

When she parted from him, she breathed out softly, "Face it Foxy. We're stuck together like glue. And I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Oh yeah you do, handsome..." She rumbled her lips against his, "You sure do..."

With a sultry smile, she led him away upstairs to 'reunite' properly.

If there was one thing the wife of Leslie Kyle was good at, it was putting a super smug grin on his face.

- private smooch sesh of a lifetime? You might like the... enticing little number I've got on under this coat~"

She chuckled in amusement, "Oh I dunno. If I were to put some fire back into your veins, you'd be grinning from ear to ear welcoming people into our restaurant."

Winking saucily at him, she took his hand, "How about I steal you away for a moment to give you the -I've issued the hell outta you-

"I gather Addy's been driving you a little cuckoo as well with her curiosity?" Alina laughed, thumbing his collarbone lightly.

"Well, I'm here now to help carry the load."

Parting from his lips with a smile, she allowed her hands to softy caress at the sides of his neck to the base where it met his shoulders.

"God have I missed you, and this," she said in a whisper.

"I think so too," She smiled easily, taking his hand in one of her own.

"And whatever it does throw at us, we'll face it hand in hand. Together, as one."

Louis meowed he rose to his feet, making his way to Nick's feet and proceeding to rub himself all over the man's legs.

They certainly do.

A little 'reunion' time is on the cards.

"Hey, handsome," she grinned, pulling him in for a well-overdue smooch.

- chuckle from her lips, "But it did make me wonder... Y'know, about the future. I mean, I know I can take care of my furkids no problem, but, I guess... I dunno, maybe someday, I'd like to think about putting my guns away, settling down and, maybe, think about starting a family one day."

Alina took a short breath, "I dunno, I guess I just got curious."

She sat down for a moment as she watched Louis grooming a recovering Mitra, "I see how good you are with Louis and he seems to adore you. I think it's fair to say that he's adopted you as his cat dad already."

There was a small -

"Much, thanks," She smiled, "I think your charming, sharp wit helped a little."

She misses him too, but she's finally home from her travels, and she's happy to be reunited with him and little Addy.

Opening the door to slide into the passenger seat, the redhead buckled up and pulled the door closed.

"Ready when you are, Sparky," she said with a saucy wink. A mischievous hand briefly roaming his thigh with a light tease of a possible sweet treat if he felt like a nibble after food.

"Let's do drive-thru," she responded as she sauntered over to his car, "Saves waiting around in queues in the cold air, right?"

She rose from her seat, rolling her ankles and flipping her hair with a smirk, "Born ready. Let's get some greasy goodness!"

Heading for the door out of his place, there was an extra little swagger in her step. The subtle sway of her hips in her shorts as she walked onwards to go and grab a feast.
