As someone who works with drawing very loosely, quickly (to get as many panels as needed in storyboarding) 45mins can feel like a lifetime. But it is nice to be able to breath, focus, get lost in the whole scene and of course, sip some wine ✏️🍷😅

Sketchbook Sunday? Maybe its a thing... here's a few pages (drawn in my friends beautiful garden) from my 'pocket book'. I take this tiny scrappy book everywhere. Its 90% nonsense notes, shopping list, and reminders, but every now and then its produces a nice little slice of life sketch.

Cheeky bonus because selecting those highlight image yesterday was harrrrrddddd. So A quick fly through a whole butt-load of sketches from last year. I'm glad I finally settled on a system for digitising and sorting them, finally.

From last week - I opted to use a fountain pen rather than my usual go to charcoal. It was a nice change, enjoyed the process and the outcome. I drew in pen a lot in my teen years, often observational sketches of my friends, things on the desk, or places.
