Extras: B+ (Lettuce, cheese, tartar.)

Verdict: C (Get the full hoagie instead)

Eat N’ Park’s “Whale of a Cod” sandwich

Bun: B (Hoagie bun, soft but toasted)
Fish: B (Crispy, bordering on over cooked)
Extra’s: B (Cheddar cheese, no tartar sauce despite me ordering it)

Verdict: B. A solid sandwich.

Yet another sandwich!

This one from The Original Oyster House in Pittsburgh.

Fish: A- (Large and decently cooked. A little flat on flavor though)
Bun: B+ (A large soft dinner roll. Not toasted)
Extras: C+ (Just tartar sauce)

Verdict: A (A good fish sandwich from a historic restaurant)

Ok…. Note to self…

1. I am no longer 19 and a broke college student.
2. Going to an all you can eat Chinese buffet does not mean you try to eat it all!

Arby’s Crispy Fish.

Bun: B+ (Sesame bun, soft, lightly toasted)
Fish: A- (Crispy, large for the size and flavorful too)
Extras: C (tartar sauce and lettuce. Lacking something)

Verdict: B+.

I knew of one vr world that let you fly an arwing. Kept trying to get you to check it out when I could still visit it.

1. A good commissions TOS is helpful to manage expectations of time of completion & protection.
2. Don’t overextend yourself with your work. Offer limited things you can do easily & without too much stress.
3. Anyone who would attempt a scam chargeback would become a pariah because of your friends.

If you’re really wanting money, doing a treasure island is probably the best way to do it. Even though it’s morally dubious.

Oh I know the feeling. I have tons of friends who do art who’ve told me the exact same thing. And there’s an equal amount who’ve told me the same thing I said is what gets them out of it. The paralysis of “I need to make *something*” as if art can’t just have no meaning at all.

Then just draw. I know that sounds cliche. But draw, doodle, free form ideas. Something will click and inspiration with hit to continue.

Bread: B+ (Italian bread. Soft but doesn’t hold up over time)
Fish: A (Gigantic. Batter dipped, gold and crispy)
Extras: B+ (Vinegar Cole Slaw, Fries and cheese. Tangy)

Verdict: A- (Almost Famous)

Fish Sandwich Review #3: Wendy’s

Bun: B+ (soft roll. Lightly toasted)
Fish: B+ (Appropriate sized for the bun. Panko breading. Good crunch and taste)
Extras: B (Lettuce, tartar sauce, cheese and pickles)

Overall: B+. Suprisingly good.

Burger King’s “Big Fish”

Bun: Potato bun, toasted. B
Fish: Thinner than the FoF but takes up the whole bun C+
Extras: thin tartar sauce, lettuce and pickles. No cheese. B-

Verdict: Moderately better than the Golden Arches. But not by much. B-

Starting the fish sandwich reviews!

Number One: McDonalds Filet-O-Fish!

Bun: C (steamed. Kinda soggy)
Fish: B- (Perfectly mediocre but done well)
Extras: D (Tartar sauce taste overpowers everything. Only a 1/2 slice of cheese)

Verdict: better than a pineapple ring on a bun. C+

3. The reviews are gonna be mostly on larger fast food places. But I will try to find a few "local" places to me (Pittsburgh area) that do a good one as well when I can.

I'll try to standardize the reviews as best as possible but this is informal as I can make it.

2. I am what I consider a "lapsed Catholic". I grew up catholic, went to catholic grade school. I no longer attend church. This is as "secular" as I can be around this time of year. Namely cause I don't drink so St. Patty's is out. Not to mention most places offer a 2 sandwiches for X.XX deal.

1. The reason why? I always associated getting a fish sandwich from a place with my parents. With my mom passing last year, it's one of the memories that means a lot to me. She always was looking for a good place that had an amazing fish sandwich. It's just something that ties good memories to her.

OK... This year I"m gonna do a big "social media" thing and it's gonna be weird.

I'm not very much a Catholic any more but I always look forward to this season for one reason. Fish Sandwiches.

So for the next few fridays. I'm gonna be "reviewing" fish sandwiches from every fast food place I can.

i don't have all the answers for how to look out for kids in the digital age but I strongly suspect completely isolating them entirely is not the solution. we're entering this bizarre as shit world where kids aren't allowed to be anywhere online, but there are no truly adult spaces either.

To me, the old pic look a little more rough around the edges, showing the impulsiveness and brashness of youth. the newer one being more soft, showing the wisdom of experience.

She really looks like she's gotten older. The "old" image with her being a younger teenager look while the more modern one looks like she's hitting her later teens.
