View of Fort Griswold (Groton,CT) from Fort Trumbull (New London,CT) across the Thames River. Ft Griswold was captured by British forces under Benedict Arnold during the Battle of Groton Heights 9/1781. Both sides experienced extensive losses and many homes and other buildings were destroyed.

I love looking at pictures of you, Ollie! My grandmother lived with a sheltie named Joey for many years. He was a good friend. Seeing your pictures brings back memories of the good times I spent with him.

I think that's a Song Sparrow. We have a resident one next to our back entry. Their songs are fantastic especially in the springtime. They always seem to be very grateful birds!

A white Greek Revival church built in 1832. The steeple is octagonal at the top. The entry door is to the right rather than the center. The photo was taken in winter and the surrounding trees are without leaves.

What a cute little guy!

It so hard. It's been over six months since I lost my friend. Yesterday we donated the remainder of unopened food to a rescue. It was so very difficult but I'm hoping a needy dog will enjoy his lamb stew and turkey stew.
