I am more proud of being trans than I am afraid of fascists. Idk whats gonna happen to me but it’s gonna happen to me as a trans man. Whenever I go, I’ll know I lived back to back with my people, protecting us.

Not to say trans men don’t experience misogyny. I still do. But even the brand is different. The misogyny I experience is nothing compared to what trans women experience and comes with a different set of problems than what cis women deal with.

These accusations of being crazy happened after a year of me begging for help, for him to come home from the bar, while I struggled with post-partum psychosis.

When I left my first husband, he told my mom I had gone crazy. My mom, who saw me leaving a financially stable man, agreed. They tried to convince me to institutionalize myself.

I didn’t cause harm or take anything but my clothes and baby stuff. Didn’t keep him from his child. No scene.
