An LGBTQ+ pride flag formatted in the layout of the SMPTE "color bars" test pattern used for broadcast television. The first set of columns use the colors of the gay pride flag, with the addition of the original SMPTE color on the final column. The second set of columns contains two pride flags - the pansexual flag horizontally, and the asexual flag flipped and horizontal. The final set of columns contains the three colors of the transgender flag and the two POC-inclusive colors, followed by the original bar gradient from the SMPTE ECR-1-1978 pattern.

…as always, the biggest hurdle is the userbase. discord hasn't enshittified nearly enough for a big portion of its userbase to want to jump ships (it's nice that it happened with The Everything App™ though).

…there is no official voice call protocol so matrix clients aren't close to implementing it, and the irc-like approach of channels for communities rather than a collection of channels ("guilds" or "servers", matrix calls them "spaces") is alien to discord users and would definitely confuse them…

…revolt is supposed to support everything i listed, except that voice call is under a rewrite
matrix technically supports everything except voice calls, but most clients apart from Element don't implement them (and i've only seen custom emoji work on Cinny)…

it's unfortunate that neither revolt nor matrix have every feature from discord i need (custom emoji, gif support, voice and video call support with screensharing, threads, file sharing, media embeds)…
