I made no suggestion at all that our tax dollars shouldn’t be used to ease poverty in our community. Blaming arts and art projects which receive the tiniest amount of public $ feels a little specious to me, tbh.

My ultimate flex is to request my library purchase a small press Can book which they most often do and then they send me an email when it comes in and I go pick it up and bring it home and read it and return it to the library so other readers can find it.
