This had nothing to do with anything that happened at Citrus Con, this is just a thought I've been holding onto for a month and a half.

Don't start petty fights, don't shame fandom elders for "being old", realize that your fellow fans are not content creators, but other human beings.

Don't speak death into your fandom spaces. Don't declare death.

Fandoms don't have to "die". It only dies if you let it.

A fandom is only "dead" is there is no-one one interesting in creating for it or talking about it. If want a fandom to stay hype? Talk about it with other fans make content, no mater how shitty or bad. Don't rely solely on Discord Servers for engagement. Reach out and connect in other spaces

Also to all the folks complaining that the #dispatch fandom is dead need to get a grip.

So #Citruscon26 Has come to a close. It was a lot of fun, hearing old voices and learning new things.
