I bought the Snake Eater remake purely on Sam's obsession with the ladder.

I'm old enough that when I got my first car which didn't have a manual choke, I thought I had entered some kind of nirvana Jetson style state. It was a 1990 Nissan Micra. It also didn't have puddles of water in the rear passenger footwell, which I always thought was a bonus.

It now says "You're 98% there" implying that I'm complicit in this whole update saga. It has now finished. I have forgotten what I booted it for to play in the first place.

I thought it had finished, but it decided to reboot again..... I'm going to attempt a Masters degree in the time waiting for it to finish updating.

I'm loving my Rog Xbox Ally X, but the update process is shambolic. It loaded up, told me it needed to restart to update. I restarted, and then it went through multiple update processes and took an age. Steam OS is sooooo much slicker. Also the Xbox overlay when it boots is often unresponsive 😂

I still press the create/share button every now and then thinking it still is the select button then get annoyed when it thinks I want to take a screenshot.

Just finished Echoes of the End. Really enjoyed it and a solid 7/10. Had some good puzzles. Plot not particularly engaging. Quite an interesting skill tree.

The trailer sold me but holy moly the demo blew me away.

I forgot how good ticking fox bellies is, in Ghost of Tsushima.

Just finished Yotei. Such a beautiful game. Now replaying Tsushima. I think I prefer this to Yotei, only because when it came out it blew me away and is in my top 10 of all time games. And I think I prefer the originals story ever so slightly. However, they are both GOTY material.

Mine is apparently appearing at the end of next week. I hope they don't delay it any more than that.
