You weren't talking to me but 😂 may I pop in and say I highly recommend dual booting Linux alongside one's previous OS! Linux has quite a learning curve and when it gets frustrating (bc it WILL) it's such a relief to fall back on your old OS for the day just to know peace..... lol

Yeah it's tough. I've only tried a couple meds but I decided to stick with the one that works best and take breaks from it when the side effects bother me too much (and then of course deal with the symptoms the meds treat lol). 😔 I wish meds were a solution but I guess it's more of a trade off. :(

The imagination, the drive, the urge to make things has always come back, but it can be a long time. I wouldn't know about burnout (never been productive enough to burn out), but I've never been able to force inspiration. Sometimes whatever makes me make art turns off. I once saw a quote comparing creativity to fruit trees- the trees don't bear fruit all year, they have periods of dormancy.

You can tell how much love went into this 😭 Sisko and Dax tossing the tribbles... Worf refusing to explain the old Klingons... omg 💘

A new visitor from the outer Solar System, comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN) also known as SWAN25B was only discovered late last week, on September 11. That's just day before the comet reached perihelion, its closest approach to the Sun. First spotted by Vladimir Bezugly in images from the SWAN instrument on the sun-staring SOHO spacecraft, the comet was surprisingly bright but understandably difficult to see against the Sun's glare. Still close to the Sun on the sky, the greenish coma and tail of C/2025 R2 (SWAN) are captured in this telescopic snapshot from September 17. Spica, alpha star of the constellation Virgo, shines just beyond the upper left edge of the frame while the comet is about 6.5 light-minutes from planet Earth. Near the western horizon after sunset and slightly easier to see in binoculars from the southern hemisphere, this comet SWAN will pass near Zubenelgenubi, alpha star of Libra, on October 2. C/2025 R2 (SWAN) is scheduled to make its closest approach to our fair planet around October 20.

A colossal head rises in a vast crimson desert. Half of it is unraveling, revealing a setting sun conspicuously not covered by the massive shelf cloud surrounding it. One eye is glowing, but you're not sure if you're looking through the head to the sky beyond or if it is lambent on its own. There is peace in this nothingness, albeit fleeting. It doesn't matter where you go, you can't outrun yourself.

I've been thinking about this and suddenly remembered that Bluesky is supposedly decentralized (or aiming for that). Hopefully there are people who understand it setting up alternative instances with their own rules&mods (which should mean those users are protected from the original bsky mods)?
