He leaned his cheek against the side of their head, making low moans himself in a way to subtly guide their voice back down. After several hard contractions, Mars flipped to their knees and rested their arms on the rim of the pool. Crowley was, once again, pleased. “You're amazing, Mars. Simply amazing. You're moving so well.”

In a moment that took all the breaths in the room, the tiny being on the ultrasound moved an arm in what almost looked like a wave. “They waved!” Tartan bounced on the stool so much that they rolled away. Two little legs worked furiously to scoot the stool back to position. Aziraphale looked up at Crowley, who gave him a tearful smile in a look that conveyed what they were both thinking - not only was it exciting to see their baby, but it was such an unbeatable moment to watch their child see their sibling on the screen for the very first time. While they had prepared Tartan for seeing the ultrasound, nothing had prepared either one of them for the rush of emotions they would experience as they watched the realization and excitement brighten the face of their firstborn. Crowley caressed the side of Aziraphale's head, his fingers twirling in spiky curls. The baby put on a show to the delighted squeals of Tartan, who clapped and hollered for the rolls and kicks happening on the screen. They watched and listened intently as Anathema pointed to the screen and explained what they were seeing.

Final chapter of "Our Garden In Full Bloom" is up for my belated #IneffableFamFeb offering today. Aziraphale has his ultrasound and Tartan gets to see the baby. Fluff, mushy love, parenting, domesticity. It's all there. ⭐

Aziraphale is feeling sad after he handed his surrogate baby over to their new parents. He confided in Anthony about how hard it is to let go his surrogate children. Anthony goes out of their way to try to make Aziraphale feel better with wine and cake! Anthony tells the weary god, "Cheers, angel.... I know it's not easy letting them go. But, you made those ladies very happy. For that, you deserve all the wine and cake you desire! Just know that I'm here for you...." Touched by Anthony's kindness, Aziraphale expresses his gratitude. "Oh, Anthony...! That means a lot. Thank you." He thinks to himself, "Never in all my years have I met a soul so tender...! If there is anyone who deserves everything his heart desires... it's him...!"

Crowley knows how sad Aziraphale feels after letting his surrogate babies go.... 😔

So, I can't think of a better way to end #IneffableFamFeb than a night off with extraordinary amounts of alcohol and cake!
