Unfortunately I am lacking in having another person who encourages me to get out and walk/run. I really have to constantly motivate myself, and sometimes I don't wanna. π«€ But I got out tonight so that's a win!

Balancing consistency and life is tough, but I would typically call it quits for the summer by now so every run I get done is more than I used to, and Iβm proud of myself for that. Still on Week 6, yet still more running than Week 1. Keep on! πͺπββοΈ

Today was really hard. I had originally thought that I would adjust to the heat and humidity and do 6:1 for a week, but Monday went so well that I did Day 2. Except I needed more walks during my second 10 minutes, so I guess Iβll go back to my original plan.

Ughβ¦ 94% humidity is not ideal outdoor conditions to want to go run, but I got my butt out there! 10 days since my last workout is enough! Fortunately other than a lot of sweating, my body didnβt feel particularly exhausted at the end and my app said I looked fabulous!πͺ

Lots of fun yesterday which led to a late night and late start today. Now I have heavy rain in my area so I think running will have to wait until tomorrow. π«€ But after I get my morning routine going, I think Iβll try to get some Yoga+Pilates done.

Went a little farther with my cooldown walk because I ended up messing with the settings and set the distance for 5k! π
Iβll get there before too long, but that wasnβt the plan for today! Got two 10 minute runs done. Could start to feel it in my back muscles.

Today was hard! I just felt exhausted for some reason (some grass I passed looked very cozy), but I got myself out there and ran. Starting Week 6 again. Hopefully I can see it through this time and I start to feel more awake! My hip seems better too.

Ugh. My hip/lower back are acting up again. Itβs really frustrating to have to experiment with various methods to try and get it to go away, especially when it takes away from other things I want to accomplish like running. But itβs all a part of the journey to better health right? π₯²

Got another run done! I decided to do the first day of Week 6 again, and then Iβll restart Week 6 on Sunday. Felt good overall though! Humidity is getting up there, so Iβll need to start waking up earlier. π₯΅

Going through the movements with Pilates and then with Yoga gets me thinking that I need to do more of this. And then I think about the demands of running and it gets overwhelming. Not that I canβt do it, I just donβt want to OVERDO it. Iβm sure Iβll get there though.

I decided to start Week 6, since Iβm fairly confident that my back pain was because of the extra workout. It was a little rough going today, my chronic lower right back tension was acting up and I was getting a migraine. I canβt wait until I get that under control.

Another run done! I was supposed to run 20 minutes, but halfway through I had some back muscle pain so i walked for a minute to make it go away. I added an extra minute to the end though! I think the extra workout added more difficulty to today than I expected.

I had a migraine on Sunday, and obligations yesterday, but I got myself out today! Started Week 4 and had a couple of 5 minute stretches. No pain other than a few twinges at the end, but Iβm hoping proper care will keep those at bay. Hereβs to the week!

Got Week 3 done! Iβve had some pain in my calves right at the end of my sessions recently. Iβve got a soak ready and Iβm going to really focus on my foot strike when I go running again on Sunday. In the meantime, Iβll do some yoga.

Sunday and todayβs runs. I was thinking that I might do some yoga, but I never did, so I never posted. For today though, I was determined that no threat of rain was going to keep me from my run!

I really felt it in my legs doing C25K today so I think Iβm going to take a few days off from walking and running. My plan is to still do some yoga, but I think I need a few days before I move up to Week 3. Saw it through, but it was rough!

Some more IWT today. I really feel it in my calves by the end, which I donβt noticeably experience when I run. Itβs interesting how different types of movement, even ones that seem similar, can affect your body.
