A purply pink peplum top knit in 50/50 cotton merino DK weight yarn. A leaf green flowy ruffle tee knit up in 50/50 cotton merino fingering weight yarn.

LECANORA - what's this.. a WARM green?! After many variegated colorways paying homage to golden summer lighting on a late afternoon lawn, or mossy lichens adorning tree bark, this colorway was inevitable! Named for a common tree lichen, Lecanora is a gilded olive tonal with warm brown undertones. It's infinitely complex and a little different on every base! Silk tends to pick up a few cooler tones, whereas non-superwash amplifies golden tan shades and a touch of pink; then it's noth8ing but moody and deep on the yak blends! I love when tonals do this - it really gives you an idea of what went into the recipe and gives each fiber such a unique appearance. (The suri, good grief, is incredible.) . BRISK - is there anything more nostalgic than that first feeling of fall? I feel like as humans there's something so intrinsically desirable about autumn - we collectively yearn for it towards the end of summer (or all year, really) and ache for those fleeting first glimpses. Was that a crunchy leaf I just stepped on? Did that breeze have a hint of chill to it?! I wanted to capture that feeling with Brisk, of the first fallen leaves on pavement, greens becoming less dominant in foliage while the world transforms. DEW - our hazy languid summer afternoon colorway, jumping through sprinklers, the water catching the golden hour sunlight in a brilliant glow. Not the colors you think of when you hear the word "dew", but I felt this inspiration also held commonalities with the beautiful warmth summer mornings have, and how much this emanates the same visual for me! Dew is a variegated blend of grass green on cream, with splashes of ochre gold. The gold tends to break occasionally into beautiful tawny brown and magenta speckles, and makes each skein a little special!
