Holt government drops N.B.-based virtual care company Province replacing eVisitNB with a new service provider based outside Canada

eVisitNB has filled some gaps but also has some shady practices. And it always bothers me when it’s called a “made in NB business”. It’s just Maple, an Ontario company partly owned by Loblaw.

And lastly, eVisitNB is doing a big FU to the new providers by only filling prescriptions up until March 31st. This will create a huge backlog of people trying to get refills via new provider on April 1st. Seems pretty unethical in my opinion, as it puts people at risk.

Some of the people complaining about not being able to understand Bad Bunny's lyrics are the same people who'll sit through an opera in a foreign language for 2 hours and then pat themselves on the back for being cultured.

They have to follow guidelines when awarded. Some got outbid. Best value selected. Where is the issue. Sure it would be great if NB company but obviously that wasn’t the criteria to be from NB.

New Brunswick Child and Youth Advocate Kelly Lamrock said in a letter Thursday to Premier Susan Holt that the platform’s artificial intelligence model, Grok, had refused “to rein in the use of its platform for the sexualization and exploitation of children.”
