Portland people! Portland state comics department is putting on a festival dedicated to the art of making comics! Next weekend, May 17 and 18th join me and my friends and fellow educators as we teach, talk, explore and celebrate everything we love about the art form.

J.J. Vazquez is a professor at Portland State University. He's the associate director of the PSU Film and PSU Comics Studies programs, curating cool events for both departments. He is the Producer of "Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope" (2018), "The Run" (2021), and "American Track League" (2024). He also co-writes and directs video commercials for Trackland Productions.
