(Small anecdote: my piano teacher in undergrad was a no nonsense type person. Meanwhile, I am a comedian… so when I did my piano jury, I listed the piece I was playing, along with 2 other options: Rach 3, and John Cage 4:33. At least the other piano faculty members got a kick out of it! 😂)

You and I are very similar in that regard! I’ve got a dream list going… Samin Nosrat’s roasted veg and white bean salad (it’s just a pile of roasted veg), and this ribboned carrot salad I keep seeing on TikTok with vinegar/sesame oil/etc… it looks really crispy and refreshing!

It’s official… I’m at the “my kingdom for a plate full of roasted veggies made in my own kitchen“ place in my travels…
