Absolutely used to being spammed by the usual culprits but lately we're receiving emails requesting our services as 'ghost hunters'.
Whilst we're relatively happy with the comparative charm of being marketed hauntings rather than hedge fund bets, is anyone else experiencing this?
Produced in the 1970s and early 1990s by the highly revered Borderline Science Investigation Group (issues 3 to 40 are available).
They're an absolute treasure trove of information, just as relevant today as it were 50 years ago.

There was enough information in our original post to find out the back story behind the post.
Here's Kenny Veach at the now infamous mineshaft in the Nevada Desert, near Area 51, during one of several searches for the M Cave, before he disappeared, never to be seen again.
However, what surprised us the most was the response from a couple of posters, who accused us of 'gate keeping' (one of the more polite responses), all because we didn't spoon feed them the full information etc. etc.
Is society just becoming lazy and lost any form of curiosity?
We were surprised by the response to our Stranger Things M Cave post last week.
Whilst on most platforms it was received as expected, but with Threads, it went down a storm, receiving 186,357 views, with over 286k hits on our profile.
Not bad for a platform we consider 'dead'.
I found it interesting, in Volume 2, Season 5 of Stranger Things, a certain, now infamous cave in Nevada was referenced, in plain sight. Even our daughter called it, without prompting.
I wonder if this is why Vecna / Henry Creel is too scared to enter.......

Our research when out in the field often involves moments of quiet attunement to a landscape.
Here, Laura takes a reflective pause during one of our visits, perhaps a reminder that intuition and, careful observation sit alongside technical methods in our research.
No other information was given, just the strong compulsion to repeat the mantra again and again - "Give me a reason, give me a sign".
Once in the Church, Laura wrote the mantra upon a prayer request note.
We hope it meant something to someone.
During our last visit to St Peter's on the Wall (St Cedd's Chapel), Essex, back in 2023, as we started walking along the Roman Road to the Chapel, Laura, almost immediately 'received' what can only be described as a mantra, which she felt compelled to repeat the entire walk to St Cedd's.

Initially, we thought it had been placed to protect the Church however, as events transpired, perhaps it was to protect the outside from what was within the grounds itself?

Clearly home made, very carefully, with a man-made hole drilled through a chalk pebble.
