IMO wisdom (getting old) teaches us that there are times in history which afford us the luxury of debating the nuances of individual policies and then there are times Iike these where we sadly have to plug our noses and throw all our support behind the only viable party that overtly opposes fascism.

There are scenarios in which you can almost excuse USA Hockey from engaging with this administration - having to shut up and play nice out of duty. This wasn’t one of them. The men invited senior staffers into the dressing room for beer showers. They are lockstep with Trump and deserve any fallout.

Even if we overlook what what Trump repeatedly says about Canada, I’m not sure I can muster less respect for a man who kisses the ring of someone who publicly called their mother’s native countryfolk rapists and drug dealers. Kind of a deal breaker for me but hey, maybe I’m just too fucking woke.
