Agreed! I'm trading Hunter for nothing less than an immediate impact bat. I just look at Rooker and see just a bat, hopefully? He has pop, but couldn't hit a broad side of a barn the last few months of the season and really struggled away from the minor league stadium.

100% agree Joel, however I think I just see Krall and the Reds brass looking at Sal, And looking at HRod, and looking at Duno, and looking at Collier, who got hot late, and saying...once again...we're just a year or so away with them.

But I also never see the Reds doing this kind of trade. For better or worse (I think the latter) they're trying to build a team built on speed/defense and drafting their own pitching. They know they can't, or just wont, afford an elite bat, so why try.

I'd personally want a bit more than Rooker in this kind of deal. Like a Wei-En Lin for pitching or Edgar Montero (collect all the SS...that sounds wrong)
