Still in Love is my favourite uma because I can relate to her. A girl shunned for her intense enjoyment of racing and represses that part of herself out of shame. Thus, the person she falls for is the one who always looks out for her, accepting of her and the part of herself she's deeply ashamed of.

#28 - Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Road to the Top

A huge improvement in every way over the anime produced by Studio Kai. Cygames' in house studio just hits different. The stories with Ayabe, Top Road and Opera were given the right amount of focus to have a really enjoyable watch. Would recommend!!

#27 - Umamusume: Pretty Derby (Anime S1-3)

A pretty enjoyable retelling of irl events regarding the horses. However, it struggles with pacing and lacking enough time for proper build up. Perhaps the other adaptations do a better job but the game is the best to know the characters of these girls.

#26 - Pokemon Recharged Pink

It's a very nice remake of Fire Red & Leaf Green within the decompiled Emerald engine. One of the best ways to play Kanto if you liked the old school mechanics with some additional changes.

#25 - The Menu

A very poignant commentary on class and the current state of fine dining. It lacks an overall cohesive plot but that's not all that important to the experience with this movie. It's a piece of media out of my wheelhouse but I'm glad to have experienced it.

#24 - Star Wars: Jedi Survivor

An expansion and improvement over Fallen Order in every possible way except bug and game stability. The side content was a nice addition but lacked enough depth for me to want to keep doing it. I look forward to playing the next and final entry of this series.

James Gunn does it again. A stellar movie about what Superman should be — the representation of hope. It doesn't pull its punches with the political parallels to current world events and it's all the better for it. It's a movie that a lot of people need right now.
