Ugh that’s miserable. We briefly lost power but much of the area is still without power. Craziest storms I’ve experienced in StL. Hopefully your power will be restored sooner than Monday. I’m glad you’re safe as well. Thinking about MS and Ala today. Seems they will get hit hard today.

Crazy storms last night. Entire outside of our house will have to be replaced. Siding shredded, windows shattered etc. As the storm moved in, we could see power flashes. We knew it was going to be bad bc this storm felt and sounded different. Grateful everyone here is safe. Just lots of damage

This confirms that DW is old and out of touch. Why can your writers not write a good story just bc two legendary characters get together? Why botch one of the greatest relationships in tv history and waste all that chemistry? So frustrating.

Good point. I’d forgotten about that article. In fairness I wouldn’t expect her to come out and say the product isn’t great. Just looking for some attempt at improvement bc this isn’t working. Hopefully they actually are aware and will make changes for next season. I dont have much faith though

Last season was boring and the bit I’ve watched this season was boring too. If they’re aware of issues then why not change? If nbc isn’t happy then i would think they would pressure them to address the product too. But nothing has happened. It’s frustrating to see a once great show become this.

I agree she cant say negative things and I wouldn’t expect her to. The part that got me was when she said DW is all about intelligent writing etc. If she has awareness, why go so all in on the compliments? Idk i wonder if they’re so wrapped up in their own world that they really dont see an issue.

For sure they need to do something bc it’s been a snoozefest for so long. I get the sense they’re oblivious to that though. Even M’s latest interview makes it sound as if they think everything is peachy.

I haven’t watched much this season so probably not. I’ll just keep feeding my EO fix with the works of incredible writers

I absolutely hate the cold. We’ve been iced and snowed in since Saturday night and I’m over it. Once my nose or feet are cold the only thing that warms me up is my electric throw. It’s my favorite thing! I have one for my office and the couch. My husband calls it my cocoon.

As much as DW loves money, I have to think they’ll produce something for OC. I can’t imagine them spending all that money to film then not release anything. What do I know though. I’m a nurse not an entertainment expert. Still none of this will ever make sense to me.

This whole situation is bizarre. How did everything get this screwed up. It’s not like the people involved were new to the show. They were all there last year so how did this all implode??? Idk but between this and the disaster of EO, have to wonder what DW/NBC are thinking. It’s a mess

Hmmm not great but maybe they’ll use the holiday break to get it together? Idk why it’s been such a struggle. I thought last year was so good and then DW and NBC blow everything up. I’ll be surprised if OC comes back another season.

I just got off a 12 hour shift of nursing hell. Hoping for a brain break i opened this app (mistake). Can someone tell me what’s going on in the EO fandom? I can’t bring myself to open the other app of hell to figure it out. Whatever happened seems not good?

and how they handled EO is insane. ratings gold and they’ve squandered it. why bring him back, have them interact during the first few seasons back, then have their relationship go mia. like it’s nonexistent. it’s a disjointed mess and it’s just so bad.

olivia is a one dimensional empathy robot, there’s no personal life story line for any of the characters (except for rollisi which again boring). the show is a shell of itself. it’s sterile, boring, and sad to watch+

for the 1st time in prob a year+ i watched SVU live (wasn’t my first choice but i was on a plane with limited options). i’m admittedly not a rollisi stan, i dont dislike either character but i find them boring. much like the show in general. it’s like they sucked the life out of every character+

Completely agree! I’m so puzzled why they’ve chosen to write Olivia’s character this way. I guess I’m at a loss why they’ve written the show this way in general. It’s a shell of what it used to be.
