Bright lights are visible in their backgrounds. The first, panel shows Frank Burns (an absolute jerk character but Larry Linville, his actor, was not) saying, “Everybody knows war is Hell”. The second panel shows BJ Hunnicutt (Mike Farrell) saying (sarcastically) “ remember, you heard it here last.” The third and fourth panels show Hawkeye Pierce (Alan Alda) saying, “War isn’t Hell. War is war and Hell is hell and of the two, war is a lot worse.“ 5th panel shows Father Mulcahey, the chaplain (William Christopher) saying, “How do you figure that, Hawkeye?” 6th is back to Hawkeye, saying “ Easy, Father. Tell me, who goes to Hell?” 7th is Fr Mulcahey saying “ Sinners, I believe.” The last three panels are all Hawkeye, saying, “ Exactly. There are no innocent bystanders in Hell. But war is chock full of them. Little kids, cripples, old ladies. In fact, except for a few of the brass, almost everybody involved is an innocent bystander.”

The most virulently anti-trans person I have ever met in my life was -loudly and openly- sharing of the fact he was T shots because he had a "worryingly low level of natural T". To this day I know for a fact he has -never once- considered the irony.

I deleted the thread on emotional crash outs because I can say it more succinctly like this:

Check on your emotionally reserved friends. A lot of us don't express distress openly and many people mistake that for invulnerability or hypercompetence. I find that especially true among trans people.
